The Friends of Waterlow Park in Highgate, North London organise various events throughout the year from concerts to coach trips to plant and bulbs sales to volunteer opportunities.
All these activities help raise vital revenue, and any profits are put towards park improvements. Every time you purchase something from this site you are helping the Friends and volunteers keep the park up to its reputation as the most beautiful park in London.
Current projects include a book, publication date 5th December 2017, commissioned as the last activity to round off our 125th anniversary celebrations that began in 2016 with The Lark in the Park.
The book, In Living Memory: The Benches of Waterlow Park edited by local author Towyn Mason, details the lives of some of the people commemorated by the memorial benches.
The book is available from this website (see tab at the top of the page) or from our local bookshop: The Highgate Bookshop. It would make an excellent Christmas present.
There’s still time to plant your Spring Bulbs, especially tulips, and bring a cheerful bit of colour to a dull winter’s day. We still have a variety of bulbs available. Click on the Bulb sale tab above to take you to the online ordering page. If you live within a mile of Highgate and spend over £25 we are happy to deliver them to you if that’s more convenient.
