About the Garden
Vibrant winter colour in the heart of Cambridge, this celebrated winter garden is well worth a visit.
Former head of horticulture and garden design at Capel Manor, April Cameron, (who’s now committee member for horticulture for the Friends) will lead a guided tour of the shrubs and herbaceous for those who wish to join her.
As well as the winter garden there are the warm glass houses with tropical rainforests, a famous pinetum, and lots of other attractions, apart from the cafe and shop. CBG is also close to the Fitzwilliam Museum and a cluster of the most famous of Cambridge colleges including Kings.
All facilities are fully accessible and wheelchairs can be booked.
